Which payment gateways does Subflow support?

At launch Subflow supports Payfast (card, EFT, instant EFT), Yoco (card) and Paystack ZA (card), all settling in ZAR. Peach Payments is planned. You switch gateway from settings — your funnel never has to be re-integrated.

How much does Subflow cost?

Test mode is free forever. Live mode is a flat R 99/mo plus the gateway’s own pass-through fees. Studio — for agencies and high-volume merchants — is R 399/mo plus R 49 per active location, with white-label and unlimited GoHighLevel sub-accounts.

Does Subflow work with GoHighLevel?

Yes — GoHighLevel is the lead integration. One install gives your funnels a choice of African gateway plus a subscription engine that matches how CRM funnels sell. A direct API is available for non-CRM builders.

Is Subflow PCI and POPIA compliant?

Subflow never stores card data — the gateways own the card vault, so card details pass straight through (PCI passthrough). Subflow is POPIA-compliant and cross-references GDPR where applicable, with a public sub-processor list and a documented AI-agent policy.

Free trials, paid trials, setup fees, one-click upsells, downsells, order bumps, plan changes with proration, pause/resume and dunning — the billing primitives CRM funnels assume but raw gateways don't ship.

01The agreement

These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you (the "merchant" or "you") and Subflow (Pty) Ltd ("Subflow", "we", "us"). They incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. If you use Subflow on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to bind that organisation.

02Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
You're responsible for safeguarding your credentials and API keys, and for all activity under your account — including actions taken by AI agents you provision (see the AI-agent policy).
You must be able to form a binding contract and, where applicable, be a registered business operating lawfully in your jurisdiction.

03The service

Subflow provides (a) aggregation across supported African payment gateways behind a single integration, and (b) a subscription engine offering billing primitives such as trials, setup fees, upsells, downsells, order bumps, plan changes with proration, pause/resume and dunning. We may add, change or remove features over time. Test mode is provided for development against sandbox gateways and must not be used to process real payments.

04Payment gateways

Subflow is not a payment processor and is not a bank. Actual processing, settlement and custody of funds are performed by the gateway you connect (Payfast, Yoco or Paystack ZA). Your use of each gateway is also governed by that gateway's own terms, and you're responsible for maintaining your accounts and good standing with them. Settlement timing, payouts, chargebacks and refunds are ultimately handled by the gateway; Subflow orchestrates and records these but does not hold your funds.

05Fees & billing

Test mode is free.
Live is a flat R 99/month platform fee, charged in addition to the gateway's own pass-through processing fees, which the gateway charges you directly.
Studio is R 399/month plus R 49 per active location, for agencies and high-volume merchants.
Platform fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on reasonable prior notice; continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to use Subflow to: process payments for activities that are illegal under South African law or a gateway's prohibited-business list; engage in fraud, money laundering or sanctions evasion; infringe others' rights; or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached or where a gateway or regulator requires it.

07Your data

You retain ownership of your data. We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, and as the operator (processor) for end-customer data flowing through your funnel. You're responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate notices for your own customers. We never store cardholder data — see Security.

08Availability

We work hard to keep Subflow available and performant, but the service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to factors outside our control (including gateway outages). Any service-level commitments, where offered, are set out in a separate agreement.

09Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Subflow is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the platform fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

10Term & termination

These terms apply for as long as you use Subflow. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by a gateway or law. On termination, your right to use the platform ends; we'll make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deletion in line with our retention practices.

11Changes

We may update these terms as the product and legal landscape evolve. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, notified by email. The "last updated" date reflects the current version; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights you may have. Questions: [email protected].
